Women Elite

Unstoppable from start to finish. Inge van der Heijden dominated the elite women’s race. The Dutch champion rode flawlessly in Middelkerke and earned the European champion’s jersey for the very first time.

The Italian revelation Mattia Agostinacchio confirmed his talent by stepping straight from junior champion to U23 European champion. On the demanding sandy course, he stayed composed, timed his effort perfectly, and rode solo from the penultimate lap to claim the title.

In the U23 women’s category, it was once again Leonie Bentveld who showed her class. The Dutch rider delivered an impressive solo performance, leaving her rivals behind early on. In the dunes of Middelkerke, she proved she’s ready for the next step toward the elite ranks.

Under a beautiful autumn sun, fans witnessed an intense battle in the junior men’s race. Italy’s Filippo Grigolini proved to be the strongest in the sand, taking a convincing victory after a powerful solo effort.

Women Junior

The first European title of the weekend went to the Czech Republic. Barbora Bukovská delivered an outstanding performance in the junior women’s race, riding solo to victory. She made history as the first-ever Czech winner of the European Cyclo-Cross Championships.
